Enderson Guimaraes  has been appointed as new head of Major Appliances Europe and executive vice president of AB Electrolux. Before joining Electrolux, Guimaraes held management positions with leading global corporations such as Philips, Hewlett Packard and Procter & Gamble.

Robert Hughes, the independent retailer who runs Hughes Electrical - a chain of 35 electrical stores across East Anglia, has taken the post of retra's new president. He plans to identify and exploit any opportunities that exist for retra members in the face of a recession.

Zoombak has promoted Craig Woodward to senior vice president of European operations.  Woodward joined Zoombak as sales director in October 2007.

His remit will be to build the Zoombak brand in the UK and Europe. 

Neff has appointed Kevin Turner as the company's new area business manager for the South East of England. Kevin comes with a wealth of experience in the kitchen appliance industry.
