Retail training from Alphason
Alphason launches a new series of training courses
Published:  11 September, 2008

Alphason Designs has entered into partnership with former retra president Malcolm Marshall to deliver retail training courses at various locations across the country.

Chris Emerson, Alphason chief operating officer, comments: "Feedback at the shows was that the new product was excellent, however retailers told us that there was a distinct lack of training and support from manufacturers.

The first series of training courses will be aimed at improving general selling skills plus the art of attachment selling. They will run for a couple of hours in the evenings to ensure that staff are not away from the sales floor longer than absolutely necessary.

In addition to sales training modules Alphason will also offer courses on Visual Merchandising and Window Displays. These will be run by industry experts and geared to developing important practical skills focussed on the shop environment.
