At the Awards Dinner marking the end of its trade show, AGM and the September Golf Tournament, Sirius Buying Group presented its annual awards to its partners, suppliers and members. The Manufacturer of the Year 2011 title was given to SMEG. The Distriubutor of the Year 2011 accolade was awarded, for the second year running, to D.A.D. – Domestic Appliance Distributors.

The title of the Sirius Member of the Year 2011 went to Nailsea Electrical, an independent electrical retailer that has undergone great changes and growth in very tough trading conditions. Gordon Jones, chairman of the Sirius Buying Group (pictured on the left) presented the Sirius Member of the Year trophy to Ben Gilks of Nailsea Electrical (on the right).
