CE accessory specialist Techlink International is to sell directly to independent retailers in the future. In the past, Techlink has served the independent channel via national distributor Lawton. However, due to the recent closure of Lawton it have decided to take the opportunity to reconsider the way in which it serves and can grow this important sector of the market. At the same time Neil Drain, formerly MD of Lawton will join the organisation to help manage the new division.
Techlink’s MD, Ralph Allen, said: “We are very pleased to announce that we will be developing a direct relationship with key partners within the independent sector. In order for us to provide a smooth transition and a strong platform for growth we are delighted to announce the appointment of Neil Drain to manage this sector.”
