The T2400, Freeview+ HD PVR, released by Icecrypt, a brand of Turbosat International, has a 2TB hard drive. It not only boasts all of the features of Freeview+ HD – the ability to pause, rewind and record live TV – but builds on them with multimedia functionality.
With two USB ports users can play back their DivX and MKV files on their TV. The T2400 also plays other media files including MP3, AVI and JPEG, allowing the receiver to act as a media centre for all users’ movies, photos and music.
Incorporating a massive 2TB Western Digital Green Power hard drive, the product not only allows up to 1,000 hours of recording, but also runs cooler, quieter and more economically than other HDD types. It is backed by a two year manufacturer’s warranty and customer helpline.
