More than 100 members of staff at Indesit Company pledged their support for this year’s BBC Children in Need campaign on Friday night. Manning the phones at the company’s Peterborough-based call centre, the team took thousands of donations from across the UK during the live telethon.
Keeping to this year’s theme of ‘Show off your Spots, Lets Raise Lots’, the Indesit team donned fancy dress to take pledges from the public, which totalled £69,828 from the Indesit call centre alone. The money will help improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.
