Wishing to make healthy cooking at home simple, Sharp has developed its Steamwave, a space-saving countertop steam oven, with built-in microwave and grill functionality.
Sharp’s Steamwave has 18 pre-programmed menu options taking the guesswork out of cooking and allowing consumers to easily cook foods such as rice, pasta, mixed vegetables, fish and gratin.
The manufacturer has developed a number of recipe ideas for Steamwave which users can find by visiting the YouTube channel where they can watch cookery students from Westminster College taking part in the Steamwave recipe challenge.
Steamwave’s accessories include two steel steam trays as well as a glass tray, which can be used with the rack for perfect grill results. Designed with a flat cavity, a removable drip tray and a pre-programmed descale, the Steamwave is also easy to look after – and for extra peace of mind, it’s also equipped with a child lock. The Steamwave models are available in stainless steel and red finishes.
