A collection with the X-factor
De’Longhi launches Brillante breakfast collection
Published:  14 December, 2010

The latest collection of kettles and toasters from De’Longhi was inspired by the company’s Italian heritage, and in particular its roots in the region of Venice, world famous for its glass manufacturing.

Launched in time for the Christmas season, the Brillante collection, is to add sparkle and glamour to the kitchen.

It has been created by the same designer at De’Longhi, Dario De Prà, who had developed De’Longhi Icona range. He was inspired by the stunning ‘Chimera’ glass sculpture, cut by renowned Italian artist, Varisco, who works for a well known glassworks in Murano.

The Brillante range has a three-dimensional and multi-faceted surface which glistens in the light to leave the impression of a shimmering jewel. It is available in two colours: Jet Black and Ice White.

The collection is functional as well as stylish and has a number of important features, such as 3kW rapid boil with 3-level safety protection, cord storage, and a removable, washable scale filter. The toaster contains user-friendly functions including an ‘extra lift’ position for easy removal of small slices.
