Pure has launched a compelling proposition for music lovers who often wish they could identify and buy that perfect tune they have just heard on the radio. Pure now has a mechanism for them to do this – the FlowSongs service. This is an innovative music service that allows the user to identify (tag) tracks playing on any radio station and buy them directly from any PURE radio with Flow technology built-in, including Sensia, EVOKE Flow, AVANTI Flow, Oasis Flow and Siesta Flow.
Colin Crawford, PURE’s director of marketing, comments: ‘PURE’s internet-connected digital radios are already a compelling proposition for our retailers but FlowSongs will open up significant additional sales opportunities and attract a whole new customer base.’
Will Page, chief economist at PRS for Music, says: “This FlowSongs music service sows all the same seeds of success that YouTube offered back in the summer of 2006 by giving the fan instant gratification – you hear it, like it and now you can buy it.”
