The introduction of Sony’s range of 3D Television in time for the World Cup earlier this year has revolutionised the home entertainment experience for consumers and demonstrates Sony’s commitment to offering a lens to living room 3D experience. A full range of Sony 3D hardware and content is available to buy in almost 600 retail outlets around the UK.
Sony is uniquely placed to offer exciting hardware and great content for consumers to enjoy, including 3D movies such as the new Spider-man film due for releases later this year. 3D games available to download free of charge when a Sony 3D is purchased and music videos such as Shakira’s ‘Waka Waka, the official FIFA World Cup song and iconic, vintage Jimi Hendrix content remastered into 3D.
The range of Sony 3D products combines outstanding consumer value, unique technology and unrivalled style, the range will continue to be added to over the coming months.
In order to make 3D a reality in consumers homes it is important that retailers are able to demonstrate the features and also explain set-up requirements to consumers. The recent Home Entertainment roadshow run by the Sony Training team visited eight venues across UK and Ireland over a six week period.
This road show covered all aspects of Sony Home Entertainment including Freeview HD, BRAVIA Internet Video, 3DTV and 3D Blu-ray and gave retailers the opportunity to see exciting, new 3D content for themselves and also helped with practical tips for demonstrating to consumers. With over 1,600 retailers from Sony Centres, Independent and Multiple retailers attending the road show it was by far the most successful road show run by Sony to date.
