The natural stiffness and shape of the construction reduce unwanted vibrations to a minimum while minimising the creation of internal reflections and standing waves.
Unlike many docks which only accept an analogue input from the Apple connector, the DS9000 uses Philips’ PureDigital sound processing technology to accept a digital input to ensure all processing is handled digitally, direct from an iPod or iPhone. The DS9000 also works as an alarm clock allowing gentle awakening via a choice of multiple alarms or music played through the speaker dock.
