Fisher & Paykel Appliances has appointed Stuart Broadhurst as managing director and chief executive officer of the company. Since September 2009 Stuart was acting CEO of Fisher & Paykel when former CEO John Bongard announced his retirement. He commenced his employment with Fisher & Paykel Appliances in 1988 and has extensive experience in every aspect of the company’s operations.
Fisher & Paykel has also announced the appointment of Rakesh Tiwari to the role of general manager UK & Europe. Rakesh started with Fisher & Paykel Appliances in 2005 as service manager UK/Europe and has held the position of operations manager UK/Europe since 2006. Meanwhile Richard Bowe will be relocating to Australia as managing director of Haier where he will oversee the integration of the Haier brand into the existing Fisher & Paykel set-up.
Path Group has appointed Tony Rhodes to its national accounts team. Tony joins Path after nine years working in account management, responsible for major national UK retailers, with DFS, Carpetright, Travis Perkins and Jewson.
