At an intimate preview hosted by TV's Naked Chef, Jamie Oliver launched his first range of electrical food preparation products, which are manufactured by Tefal. The collection comprises a liquidiser, food processor and multifunctional grill, which will be available nationwide from September 2009.
Oliver has worked closely with Tefal to develop the range, which aims to make cooking easier and the kitchen more stylish with its sleek black and stainless steel design.
"I'm very excited to be launching this new electricals range with Tefal," said Oliver, "as it's been a dream of mine for some time to develop a really good set of affordable kitchen electric essentials. Whether you're just starting out as a cook, a dinner party whizz or a busy parent feeding the family, Tefal and I have designed this range to make life in the kitchen much simpler and to inspire everyone to get cooking."
The mixer products feature a patented Perfect Mix System that works using an off-centre blade and non-circular, angled base shape to ensure all ingredients are blended or processed to perfection.
With its small footprint and integrated storage drawer for the blades, the food processor proves the perfect partner for the liquidiser and double-sided grill, which also offers a barbecue and oven function.
