  • Vogue - Originals collection of towel rails
    Published:  23 September, 2009

Designer radiators and heated towel rails have helped to enthuse consumers in their purchase of heating appliances during the tough economic conditions, according to Vogue UK. Among the lines on offer from Vogue is the Aroma radiator/towel warmer, allowing the user to add a fragrance. Retailing for £3,500 this might not be everyone's first choice, but other products include the Stainless Steel collection of ladder towel rails (RRPs £313 to £1134) and pictured here the OG006 in chrome from the Originals Collection.

  • Dimplex - oil-free radiator
    Published:  23 September, 2009

Dimplex sees oil-free as a major advance for portable heating as it heats up faster than traditional OFRs and is lighter and easier to move around - for example, the company's Cadiz Eco range offers the same radiant heat benefits as traditional OFRs, faster and at greater temperatures and is approximately 5kg lighter than the Cadiz OFRs from Dimplex. Pictured is the OFRC20tic oil free, which has a 24-hour timer so that daily heating needs can be programmed in advance.

Featuring a 24-hour countdown timer, two heat settings and a digital thermostat to control the room temperature, the BFH912 also has strong contemporary styling. Also new from Bionaire are two panel heaters with Micathermic elements, efficient to run from as little as 1p per hour.
