The latest outcome of Tefal’s partnership with Jamie Oliver is the Jamie Oliver Multicook which allows a complete meal to be cooked up to 70% quicker than conventional means. For example, pot roast chicken can now be cooked in 25 minutes instead of 1 hour and 30 minutes in an oven.

Whirlpool’s combi fridge freezer; the WBC3546 FCX, not only features 6th Sense technology but also benefits from new Fresh Control technology, which constantly controls the humidity of the fridge to keep food fresher for longer. 

The new Miele DGC 5080 XL steam oven combines all the benefits of steam cooking with the functionality of a conventional oven. The functions can be used in separate mode or together for specific cooking requirements.

Fisher & Paykel has added two ceramic hobs to its portfolio with a stainless steel trim and easy to use dial controls to match the range of built-in ovens.

The new series of 7kg tumble dryers from Maytag is equipped with a range of auto dry programmes coupled with the company’s unique SensiDry programme for delicate fabrics which optimises the usage of energy and time. The dryers also feature a unique ‘butterfly’ drying action which reduces creasing and the need for ironing.

Siemens has launched a pair of compact stainless steel dishwashers – the 45cm tall SK75M530GB with 6 place settings and the 60cm tall SC76M530GB with 8 settings. Both models can be wall mounted and the larger model SC76M530GB can also be mounted under the counter. Both models are very quiet with noise levels of 45 dB and 47dB respectively.

Building on the success of the Minipod – the original curvy loudspeaker – Danish company Scandyna has developed a new floorstanding design Megapod. It takes a Minipod and adds the substantial Megapod bass unit, connecting the two via an aluminium arm.

The new @Espresso Suprema coffee maker from Polti features the patented Crema Express  system that forces the water to stay in the capsule for a few seconds, thoroughly impregnating the coffee. This ensures a natural pre-infusion allowing full use of all the coffee’s aroma.

The new BRAVIA range will change the way people view television by giving viewers a 3D experience in full HD with a built-in Freeview HD tuner. It will enable viewers to connect to the Internet wirelessly and explore a huge choice of content and services.

British designed and manufactured, the new 90cm duel fuel range cooker from Belling, the Gourmet, is ‘A’ rated, has a single cavity and is available in a choice of black, red, stainless steel and pure white.

The new 90cm induction hob from Fisher & Paykel has five cooking zones with nine heat settings each. The advanced function of Power Boost uses more than 100% of the power to an element ensuring an intense and quick boost of heat. For casseroles or soups, for example, Auto Heat Reduce will quickly bring food to boil and then automatically reduce to a simmer. Gentle Heat provides a continuous low heat, ideal for delicate sauces or to warm up plates or food.

Roberts has expanded its Wi-Fi offering with four new models which give users access to over 10,000 internet radio stations.

The new STREAM 83i WiFi/DAB/FM RDS digital stereo radio (pictured here) is a portable retro-styled radio offering superb sound quality. The radio comes with multiple alarms, sleep and snooze timers and a three-way speaker system. It also offers DAB/FM and USB playback as well as a ‘LAST FM’ function, helping the user to create their own virtual radio station by recognising music preferences as they use the radio.

Maytag’s new integrated washing machine, MWA0720IIA, is part of the Line Series, featuring a one-line LCD electronic display panel.  Made of stainless steel, the model is height adjustable to 30mm and offers accompanying doors in stainless steel, white, gloss black or furniture finish.

The Sound 80, Roberts' latest DAB/FM digital stereo radio, boasts a three way speaker system with bass woofer, giving a superb sound, whilst transporting the user back to the 1980s with its retro styling. For example on a 40-70°C programme, it saves up to 50% of energy, water and time by recognising the level of soiling and automatically adjusting the resources.

Sony's new GIGA JUKE NAS-SC500PK is a hard disk drive home audio system - like a jukebox - that allows users to create one music library from tunes scattered on different products such as PC, MP3 player, mobile phone, USB sticks, CD and even vinyl record collections.

The LG RHT497H belongs to the second generation of LG digital Freeview+ DVD recorders with built-in hard disk drive (HDD). It can receive over 40 digital Freeview channels and pause, play and rewind live TV at the touch of a button thanks to advanced timeshift functionality - allowing users to step in and out of the action. The new AEG-Electrolux Di9893M island hood makes a style statement in the kitchen. It has electronic touch controls with LED display and halogen lamps to ensure good visibility when cooking. The new hybrid Everio GZ-X900, or Everio X, is a pocket size video camcorder that offers the powerful shooting combination of Full HD video and nine megapixel still photos, plus creative shooting functions such as slow motion video and high speed ‘motor drive' still photography. It allows simultaneous five megapixel digital still shooting while recording Full HD video. 

The Philips NP2900 is a compact yet advanced wireless music player, that can stream music as well as internet radio stations.

Models in Smeg's first built-in coffee machine range fit in to a reduced height oven capacity (45cm) and boast 25 settings for customisation and a five level programmable coffee strength. The machines take beans or ground coffee to make a variety of different coffee blends, and feature a steam function, a frothing nozzle for cappuccinos and a hot water function for other hot drinks.

The new Maximus vacuum cleaner offers swift and easy cleaning of a wide range of floors as well as soft furnishings. This is down to its excellent air flow and two specially developed nozzles, the Dust Magnet and the Textile Turbo nozzle. The Dust Magnet nozzle's all round suction means one ‘sweep' is enough to pick everything up first time. It also automatically adjusts to both carpet and hard floor.

The first Amica dishwasher on the British market is a fully-integrated, AAA energy rated, 60cm model which has 12 place settings and seven wash programmes in four temperatures.

Hotpoint's Openspace oven has a 70 litre capacity, 20% more space than a traditional single oven, whilst still retaining a standard single oven dimension. Whirlpool's new Filo gas hobs offer designer looks and maximum integrated flexibility.
