The three new washers and two tumble dryers from Maytag offer energy ratings of A-30%, A-20% and A-10% respectively. The washing machines are driven by Maytag’s IntelliSense technology that measures the load and then adjusts the amount of water, energy and time to the right level.

Hoover Candy has launched the new Hoover Aristocrat cooling collection to suit all needs and budgets. The Dyson Hot is a fan heater, which like Dyson fans, uses Air Multiplier technology that draws air in through an impeller. The air is then accelerated through a 2.5mm aperture set within the loop amplifier. This creates a jet of hot air which passes over an airfoil-shaped ramp channelling its direction. Dyson Hot fan heater can be set between 1 and 37°C and is equipped with an intelligent thermostat that starts monitoring the room temperature when the heater reaches the desired temperature.

LG’s Pentouch TV (PZ850T) is equipped with an interactive screen that allows viewers to control content directly on the screen using innovative Touch Pens. The PZ850T brings the interactivity of the home computer to the big screen, along with 3D technology and 2D to 3D conversion. Connecting the PZ850T to a PC allows users to access a wealth of software, as well as the internet, transforming the TV into an entertainment hub.

An A+++ energy rated no-frost combi fridge freezer (RL60GQERS) is the latest edition to Samsung’s G-Series refrigeration range. The Qosmio F750 3D, the latest laptop from Toshiba can display 3D images without the need for 3D glasses.

The Electrolux ENL60710X frost-free fridge freezer has been designed to mimic the modern side-by-side US integrated style. With an A+ rating, it uses 20% less energy than standard A rated models. The MDW 606 AWG, the latest dishwasher from Maytag, has reduced water consumption to an unprecedented six-litre and eliminated the need to pre-treat dishes prior to dishwashing. With 13-place settings, the model owes its exceptional performance to Maytag’s electronic IntelliSense and new pump technology.

By combining the company’s SoundSphere technology with Apple’s Airplay System the Philips Fidelio SoundSphere, DS9800, has created a new category of dock. It offers convenience and true audiophile performance.

The new compact microwave, the C54L70, from Neff can be positioned within the furniture units or in a tall housing as a stack with other matching compact cooking appliances. At only 36cm high (as opposed to 45cm for most microwave-only built-in models), it is very versatile and suitable for kitchens of all shapes and sizes.

The T2400, Freeview+ HD PVR, released by Icecrypt, a brand of Turbosat International, has a 2TB hard drive. It not only boasts all of the features of Freeview+ HD – the ability to pause, rewind and record live TV – but builds on them with multimedia functionality.

Panasonic’s two new 3D-compatible Blu-ray Disc recorders, the DMR-BWT800 and the DMR-BWT700 for Freeview+HD, feature twin HD terrestrial tuners, which enable customers to record two digital broadcasts in full-HD at the same time. They also allow users without a digital TV to watch a digital broadcast and record it simultaneously.

The new pet and carpet specialist vacuum cleaner (BSGL3205GB) from Bosch has been designed to be highly effective.

The independent middle drawer of Haier’s MyZone fridge freezer gives the user the choice to use the appliance as either a separate fridge or freezer compartment according to their eating, cooking and shopping habits – within a range of +5°C to -18°C.

The new JVC Everio, the GS-TD1, is the world’s first consumer camcorder to offer 3D recording in Full HD thanks to a twin-lens structure. A second model, the GZ-HM960, provides enjoyment of 3D images using a special 2D-to-3D conversion function.

Siemens has launched its first Teppan Yaki cooktop in response to the growing popularity of Japanese cuisine in Britain. With its 40cm wide facetted design and its touchSlider control system, it’s an addition to the Siemens Domino cooktop range.

The latest outcome of Tefal’s partnership with Jamie Oliver is the Jamie Oliver Multicook which allows a complete meal to be cooked up to 70% quicker than conventional means. For example, pot roast chicken can now be cooked in 25 minutes instead of 1 hour and 30 minutes in an oven.

Whirlpool’s combi fridge freezer; the WBC3546 FCX, not only features 6th Sense technology but also benefits from new Fresh Control technology, which constantly controls the humidity of the fridge to keep food fresher for longer. 

The new Miele DGC 5080 XL steam oven combines all the benefits of steam cooking with the functionality of a conventional oven. The functions can be used in separate mode or together for specific cooking requirements.

Fisher & Paykel has added two ceramic hobs to its portfolio with a stainless steel trim and easy to use dial controls to match the range of built-in ovens.

The new series of 7kg tumble dryers from Maytag is equipped with a range of auto dry programmes coupled with the company’s unique SensiDry programme for delicate fabrics which optimises the usage of energy and time. The dryers also feature a unique ‘butterfly’ drying action which reduces creasing and the need for ironing.

Siemens has launched a pair of compact stainless steel dishwashers – the 45cm tall SK75M530GB with 6 place settings and the 60cm tall SC76M530GB with 8 settings. Both models can be wall mounted and the larger model SC76M530GB can also be mounted under the counter. Both models are very quiet with noise levels of 45 dB and 47dB respectively.

Building on the success of the Minipod – the original curvy loudspeaker – Danish company Scandyna has developed a new floorstanding design Megapod. It takes a Minipod and adds the substantial Megapod bass unit, connecting the two via an aluminium arm.

The new @Espresso Suprema coffee maker from Polti features the patented Crema Express  system that forces the water to stay in the capsule for a few seconds, thoroughly impregnating the coffee. This ensures a natural pre-infusion allowing full use of all the coffee’s aroma.

The new BRAVIA range will change the way people view television by giving viewers a 3D experience in full HD with a built-in Freeview HD tuner. It will enable viewers to connect to the Internet wirelessly and explore a huge choice of content and services.

British designed and manufactured, the new 90cm duel fuel range cooker from Belling, the Gourmet, is ‘A’ rated, has a single cavity and is available in a choice of black, red, stainless steel and pure white.

The new 90cm induction hob from Fisher & Paykel has five cooking zones with nine heat settings each.
