New design for Xacti

Sanyo's new Xacti Dual camera line-up comprises three models with the familiar ‘pistol grip' body, along with three models with a new horizontal design.

The new range includes waterproof HD cameras (the VPC-WH1 and VPC-CA9), compact HD models (the VPC-TH1 and VPC-CG10) and two full HD 1080 cameras (the VPC-FH1 and VPC-HD2000). The latter two models are the first true 1080 60p cameras, says Sanyo, recording at 60 frames per second in progressive scan mode.

All of the models combine the benefits of digital still cameras and camcorders in one product.
