New Blu from Pioneer

Pioneer's new flagship Blu-ray player is the manufacturer's first deck to be tuned at Sir George Martin's Air Studios.

The BDP-LX91 is Profile 2.0 compatible so it will support all the interactive BD-Live features found on certain Blu-ray discs.

The new model also boasts 7.1-channel Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio decoding.

The reference-quality deck also incorporates a new 16-bit video engine which is designed to ensure optimum picture performance, not only on Blu-ray playback, but also when upscaling standard DVDs.
