Time to say bye bye to standby

According to the Energy Saving Trust, the average UK household wastes £37 each year by leaving appliances on standby, and that's why Domia has come up with an energy-saving device called Bye Bye Standby.

The gadget connects between the wall socket and any appliance which consumes energy unnecessarily. A combination of smart sockets and a wireless remote control allows users to cut the power to any appliance at the touch of a button, not only helping them to save money on their electricity bill, but also reducing environmental damage.
