Coolzone, a refrigeration brand launched by Bridisco Group four years ago, has announced a move into cooking appliances, which will be based on ‘contemporary design at an affordable price'.
Initially Coolzone identified a gap in the market for the entry and mid-range refrigeration products and by capitalizing on it, it has seen double digit growth from its inception, currently bringing the turnover to £8.5 million. The company focused on energy efficient products and drink coolers the sales of which have increased by 50% of volume and 60% in value terms.
The July launch, held at Arsenal's Emirates stadium, saw Coolzone's entry into the cooking category which spans a range of built-in ovens and hobs, freestanding electric and gas cookers and a range of accessories, such as stainless steel splash backs. All Coolzone products include a two-year parts and labour guarantee. The range is supported by a website: coolzoneappliances.com, large posters and a range of PoS materials, and from October Coolzone will run an advertising campaign in support of it.
