The ADP8800 uses steam to gently loosen food particles, before the 32 high-pressured PowerClean jets are used to blast off burnt-on food.

As well as cutting out the need for scrubbing or pre-soaking, the AAA-rated machine also includes a SuperEco and a half load programme to save on water and energy use.

The new dishwasher uses Whirlpool's 6th Sense technology which uses sensors to detect how much water is needed for each wash.
