New direction for Archos

Archos has added GPS capability to its 605 portable media player, transforming the device into a sat nav system.

The Wi-Fi player snaps easily into the new GPS in-car holder which is connected to the car windshield and stereo system for a full voice and video navigation system.

The Archos 605 boasts a large 4.3in LCD touch-screen and is available in 4, 30, 80 and 160GB versions.

All Archos players support numerous video, music and picture files including MPEG-4, WMV, MPEG-2, WMA, WAV, AAC, MP3 and JPEG.
