IER is calling for nominations for the 15th annual IER Independent Marketing Awards (IMA). The IMA are run annually by The Independent Electrical Retailer, co-sponsored by BDC, and are acknowledged as the most prestigious awards in the electrical industry. The award categories include Consumer Advertising, Most Impactful Product and Best Training. Additional awards recognise excellence in the accessory, floorcare and personal care product sectors.
The shortlist of finalists will be featured in a Special Awards Supplement in the May issue of IER, and readers will then be invited to cast their votes. The overall winners will then be announced at the annual gala dinner, to be held at The Belfry, Warwickshire, in June.
Anna Ryland, editor of IER, commented: “The Awards are in their 15th year and their reputation in the electrical industry is stronger than ever.
It comes from the manufacturers' recognition of the professional knowledge and service excellence of independent retailers; and a growing number of them are willing to put their products and efforts to the test before such a demanding audience”.
