Electrolux has been awarded a total of twelve International Design Awards in the 'Household/Living' appliance category for the 2008 iF Design Awards.

The award for 'Best Large Appliance' was presented to Neff for its series 6 double oven model U1644 at the Good Housekeeping Institute (GHI) Best Buy 2007 awards. The Neff oven was considered by the GHI judges as offering genuine benefits to users and making "the biggest difference in the home". 

Oral-B's rechargeable toothbrushes have been awarded three of the top four spots in the Which? electric toothbrush report. Oral-B Triumph with SmartGuide 9900 takes the top spot with Oral-B Triumph 9500 taking second place and Oral-B ProfessionalCare 7000 securing the fourth place.

Panasonic has developed the world's first 32 Gigabyte (GB) SD High Capacity Memory Card with Class 6 speed specification, for recording High Definition video. The card is able to store up to eight hours of High Definition video.
