LG has appointed Andy Mackay to the newly created position of UK sales director, digital appliances. The role covers the cooking, floorcare, refrigeration and laundry portfolio. Andy joins LG from Electrolux, where he worked for 20 years, most recently as group brand & marketing director.
Stephen Robertson has been appointed to succeed Kevin Hawkins as director general of the British Retail Consortium (BRC). Stephen Robertson has recently stepped down from the retail board at Woolworths Group plc where he was marketing director.
Digital UK, has announced the appointment of David Scott as company chief executive. David was a member of the management team which launched Channel 4 in 1982 and represented Channel 4 on the board of Digital UK.
