Bed bugs bite the dust

Ewbank, best known for its floor sweepers, has introduced a new anti-allergy bed cleaner, designed to kill bacteria and help eradicated dust mites.

The Raycop, which has already been awarded the seal of approval from the British Allergy Foundation, uses a three-pronged attack. Firstly, the bed is treated with a UV-C sterilising lamp. Secondly a vibrating pad agitates the bed, releasing the dust mites that are hooked within the mattress, duvet and pillow; and thirdly the vacuum removes the dust mites and their faeces.
