In 2007, Dyson continued to develop new technology, including three new cylinder vacuum cleaners. DC19 comes with a Flatout(tm) tool that's thin enough to fit under furniture and appliances. DC20 Stowaway(tm) has a hose that wraps around the body so it's easy to carry and store. While DC21 Motorhead(tm) has a motorised brushbar to delve deep into carpets and remove dust.
Dyson also introduced DC16 Animal: a handheld vacuum cleaner with a brushbar for picking up pet hair. Like all Dysons it doesn't clog or lose suction. Dyson is dedicated to creating new technology that works better. In 2006, Dyson invested £70m in research and development.
