Hot on the heels of the successful launch of the Steam Direct Drive washing machines in 2006, LG has made two additions to the range. The Steam Direct Drive is the first range of washing machines that use steam to clean garments. The Dual Spray system sprays hot steam and water onto fabrics, in order to improve wash performance and eliminate allergens.
What's more, the machines are A++ rated for energy efficiency, meaning that they use 35% less water and 21% less energy than traditional A-rated machines.
Prices for the new models range from £599 to £799. All three models are available in white and silver, while the Premium Trim Kit is also available in black, cherry red, pink and light blue.
