Dual format support from LG

LG has unveiled its second generation dual format highdefinition disc player – the Super Blu. Unlike its predecessor, the Super Multi Blue, the new deck offers full support for all of the extra interactive content on both Blu-ray discs and HD DVDs.

The new player can output in 1080p at 24, 30 and 60 frames per second and features various connectivity options, including an HDMI 1.3 port.

What's more, the Super Blu features LG's SimpLink function, which allows users to control several compatible devices using just one remote and an onscreen menu.
