Russell Hobbs recently unveiled is latest range of products including the Quick 2 Toast which toasts bread up to two times faster than conventional toasters, says the maker.
The kitchen appliance specialist also introduced the Quick 2 Boil, which is similar to Tefal’s Quick Cup, but with the added bonus of a conventional rapid boil kettle, creating a compact two-in-one unit.
Another of Russell Hobbs’ key products for the year is the Easyfill iron. Rather than being filled via an inlet on the front, the product has a funnel and push button valve for easy filling and emptying directly from a tap. Featuring a self cleaning and anti-calcium function, the iron also has an anti-drip function, powerful vertical steam and is available as a 2200 or 2400W model.
Among the various breakfast ranges launched was the Glass Touch collection which boasts touch control technology along with a chic, minimalist design, while the Allure range, comprising a kettle, toaster and coffee maker sports a robust build quality, along with a striking polished finish with matt white accents. Also new is the Nevada range which features a kettle with two-stage illumination to show when the kettle is boiled, and a toaster that includes indicators that flash for a countdown of toasting.
The manufacturer also showcased its updated range of George Foreman grills, some of which have removable plates for easy cleaning, along with a prototype model featuring retro styling and a red die-cast finish, which is expected to hit shops in 2010.
