The Icecrypt T5000 from Turbosat is a Freeview receiver which offers a lot more than ordinary an STB. Being fully Freeview licensed and Digital Tick approved, the T5000 has the interactive EPG and Red Button features as well as guaranteeing a seamless transition in the switch from analogue to digital.
The unit is a twin SCART model with RF modulator and SPDIF output. The RF output allows all TVs, no matter how old they are, to be connected to the T5000 – it is also ideal for connecting multiple TVs through one receiver.
The T5000 has a last channel memory so if the unit is powered down or there is a power cut then the receiver automatically reboots on the last channel that was being viewed.
