LG's new range of energy efficient side-by-side refrigerators designed with ease-of-use and simple living in mind - supported and inspired by findings from the LG ‘Simply Living' report, independently conducted research into UK lifestyle habits, which revealed that over £90million of food is thrown away every week in the UK from our fridges through improper storage.
The worlds' first non-plumbed water and ice refrigerator, helps food stay fresher for longer. The range includes new key features, including the Moisture Balance Crisper - ensuring optimum moisture levels are maintained in vegetables to prolong food freshness and help the consumer to reduce wastage.
To ensure the interior temperature is always balanced, LED digital display panels monitor and control the temperature from the outside and alarms sound if the door is left ajar.
The inside has also been intelligently designed. For example the Door Mounted Ice Maker, which allows for 2 extra shelves in the freezer while improving the convenience and access to the ice container.
With smooth, sleek surfaces and hidden hinges, the 2009 side-by-side range is available in five different finishes www.lge.co.uk
